Abbas Mohaddes is the CEO of Mohaddes Group, a strategic management firm advising technology organizations on growth and strategic initiatives. He currently serves as Chairman of the Board for Umovity and as a board member at PTV Logistics, both global leaders in transportation and logistics technology.

A seasoned entrepreneur, visionary, and innovator, Abbas has built and scaled numerous organizations into high-performing, growth-driven enterprises. He previously served as CEO of Econolite Group, now part of Umovity, a leading provider of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), and as President and CEO of Iteris, a market leader in advanced, software-based traffic management technologies. At Iteris, he also served on the board of directors, guiding multiple mergers and acquisitions and the company’s successful IPO.

Earlier in his career, Abbas co-founded Meyer, Mohaddes Associates, an ITS and transportation firm, which merged with Iteris in 1998. He has held numerous leadership roles in the transportation industry, including Past Chairman of ITS America, Past Chair and current member of the Board of Trustees of the Mineta Transportation Institute, and member of the Transportation Research Board of the National Academy of Sciences. In recognition of his contributions to the field, he has been inducted into the ITS America Hall of Fame.

Mohaddes holds a master's degree in transportation engineering from University of Nebraska, Lincoln and an executive management certificate from UCLA Anderson School of Management.
